31 days in Wellington, day 11: 'There's a devil creeping up on me' by Finn Johansson (c) 2015. Some lo-fi introspection on a windy, grey day.
Approaching music production with a sense of humour, Finn has run some great little campaigns including delivering his album "Two Thousand and Fourteen" to letterboxes by hand in time for Christmas with a handwritten card, and writing raunchy love songs to patrons who pledge financial support for forthcoming music. Songs from that wicked little album include 'Why did I eat so much food?', and, in Finn's words, were recorded 'in whichever room I was in at the time, a farm, Soteria: a gaff rigged schooner, and the Dublin College of Music'.
We think a bit of bawdiness in the wind would be right up his alley, and 31 days in Wellington is proud to feature Finn Johansson as the 11th day in a series of 31 tracks by Wellington bands and musicians over March 2016.
100% of the proceeds from sales of this track go to Kaibosh (www.kaibosh.org.nz
